Colin loves his pool

We bought a little pool to have out back for Colin. He laughed when we started filling it for him. He got such a kick out of the water coming out of the hose and just loved splashing in the pool.

You bought what?!

Yahoo! Mom and Dad bought a shore house! We are obvisously, very excited about it. Steve, Colin and I drove down one weekend to check it out. The house is so beautiful, the pictures only give you an idea... It's the whole first floor and it will fit us all and more! Congrats Mom and Dad aka Mimi and Pop you have worked so hard for what you have and we are so happy for you. We are so happy to see you guys finally enjoying yourselves and life! :-)

First Boat Trip

Mimi and Pop bought their yacht last year but, Colin was too little to take a trip. This July was our first trip. We took a short one w/ Mom, Dad, Uncle Jim, Poppop and Jill. Pop bought Colin a new lifevest and Colin liked it so much better! Thanks Pop! It was a beautiful day, we all enjoyed it.

How Big is Colin?

Colin loved playing "so big" what a cutie pie he is!

Welcome Michael Robert!

Michael Robert arrived on July 26, 2007 at 3:38am. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long. I along w/ the rest of our families were so anxiously awaiting the day, it was so exciting for all of us! It was so great to be there and see Michael Robert shortly after he was born. It was so amazing to see Kristen and Michael; so happy and just glowing with love. Once I had Colin, I never imagined I would feel such love for another baby but I was overcome with joy when I saw Michael Robert. What a blessing to all of us. What a beautiful baby!

The Krotzer Cabin 7.14.2007

Our annual weekend trip to the Cabin proved once again that I can rough it and have a good time! :-) Although, I must say, I do put my hours in of stressing out over it, I always wind up having fun. As we arrive at the Cabin, Nana greets us so excited as she does and I look around at black and white pictures hung from when the house was first built in 1931??, I see the charm if you will, and the family memories. I realize this is why Mom and Aunt Sandy love us being up there and decide I can push all aside, use that out-house with a smile, forget the no water deal, (I will stay mum about the sleeping) and add more great memories for the family. If it means this much to them then, it should mean that much to us too! Right? So... here is a bit about our weekend...

So, we put our things down and let Colin start exploring. He loved it! Everything was so new! He loved visiting with cousins Sabrina, Zach, Nate, Kassidy and baby Peyton too! We all went out and swam in the lake for a bit not too long though b/c it was a bit chilly w/ the breeze. I took Colin for a walk later on and he LOVED the sound of the trees blowing and all natures beauty to see. And let's not forget about releasing the butterflies. Oh Yes! Colin saw his first fish thanks to cousin Sabrina catching one. That was enjoyable for all! Later, once Sabrina and Colin were sleeping, me, Steve, Kevin, Chrissy, Mom and Aunt Sandy sat out back at the bonfire and toasted smores. (I must say this IS my favorite part!). We sit around and tell stories reminiscing and laughing. The next day comes and we pack up and say our good byes and look forward to building more memories next summer.

Our Beach Vacation

This was actually Colin's 2nd summer at the beach. Last year he was only about 8 wks old so, couldn't play just yet. This year he loved it! He loved building sand castles in the sand w/ us and loved taking walks on the beach. The boardwalk and rides were a blast too! Colin was able to play with the Pitera twins this year too. They had fun together and as always, it was so nice to see all of them. Kylie, Aunt Nikki and Aunt Sharon came down for a day. Kylie and Colin had a great time playing in the sand.

Of course, Steve and I enjoyed it so much watching our little one walk in the sand and just seeing how happy he was. We really are enjoying being parents! We all really enjoyed spending time together this year with the family. It was such fun, relaxing too! Thanks for such a wonderful vacation mom and dad! And... we are SO excited to spend next summer in our new "family" vacation home. Thanks again, to mom and dad! Mimi & Pop are great aren't they?!

Happy 1st Birthday Colin Michael!

Colin turned one on June 19, 2006. Can't believe our baby is one already! He had such a great day! Steve and I took off work to spend the day together with Colin and we had so much fun! We took a walk and went to the playground. Later, Mimi, Pop,Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa, Nana, Aunt Peggy, Aunt Jill and Uncle Joe came over to celebrate and have cake. I made Colin's #1 cake and he had his own special cake to eat too! Colin was a bit hesitant at first but eventually ate the whole thing. He opened gifts and loved everything! Happy Birthday sweetheart! We love you!

Colin's first Hair Cut

Colin actually had a couple of "first" haircuts. One when mommy trimmed around his ears because how long it was growing. The second was when mommy & daddy trimmed it together and the third was the REAL 1st haircut. Real as in, the hairdresser cut all of his hair off and Colin no longer looked like my baby boy (questionable girl to some b/c of his long hair) but, now looked like a big boy. I, aka mommy cried over it and actually started imagining all of the other grown up moments I will shed a tear over. Of course, daddy thought I was losing it. :-) Although it was upsetting, it was also so fun and Colin did look so darn handsome in his new "do".

Our first born

What can we say, total heaven! Colin Michael was born June 19, 2006. He weighed 7lbs 5 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He had dark hair (surprising since we were expecting a bald baby!) Life is good!

Life is good

I was just introduced to this blog and thought it was such a great way to share events with family and friends. I am a bit behind since our son just turned one but, will start with his birth and speed it up from there. Hope you all enjoy sharing the fun and memories with us. Life is good!
